**You Can Sit With Us - Consultation Terms and Conditions**
These are the terms and conditions for consulting services provided by You Can Sit With Us (referred to as "We" or "Consultant"), led by Jessica Shea, LCSW and TEAM, to the Client ("You" or "Client"). By submitting a consultation intake form, you agree to these terms and conditions.
**Introduction**
This agreement outlines the terms under which we provide consultation services to you. You believe we have the qualifications and experience for the services, and we're here to help you based on these terms.
**Services Provided**
We will provide you with consulting services, including:
- Consultation about the potential risks and benefits of using psychedelic drugs along with other substances or medical conditions.
- The information we provide is for educational purposes only. It's important not to use psychedelic drugs in places where they're illegal.
- Our services may include reviewing information you provide, researching relevant topics, and communicating with you in writing or verbally.
- We may also offer one-on-one sessions for preparation, guidance, and integration.
**Duration of Agreement**
This agreement begins when you submit the intake form and remains in effect until our services are completed or the agreement is terminated.
**Termination**
Either party can end this agreement with a 3-day written notice to the other party.
**Payment**
You agree to pay the consultation fee as advertised when you agree to these terms.
Payment is due when you book a consultation or service.
If you cancel a consultation within 24 hours of the appointment, and we've already begun some work, you won't be eligible for a refund.
**Expenses**
We'll cover necessary expenses to provide the services, unless you agree to cover specific expenses approved by you.
**Confidentiality**
Any private information you share with us is confidential. We won't share it unless you give us permission or if required by law. Our confidentiality obligations continue even after this agreement ends.
**Intellectual Property**
Any material developed under this agreement belongs to us, but you're given a limited-use license. We retain all rights to this material.
**Independent Contractor**
We're acting as an independent contractor, not an employee. This agreement doesn't create a partnership or employment relationship.
**Notice**
All communications related to this agreement will be in writing and sent to the email address: ms.jeslcsw@gmail.com.
**Indemnification**
Both parties agree to protect and hold each other harmless from any claims or liabilities related to this agreement, except where covered by insurance or law.
**Modification**
Any changes to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.
**Time of Services**
We'll perform the services in a reasonable timeframe and will inform you if any delays are expected.
**Assignment**
We can't transfer our obligations under this agreement without your written consent.
**Governing Law**
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
**Severability**
If any part of this agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the agreement remains valid.
**Waiver**
If one party doesn't enforce a provision of this agreement, it doesn't mean they waive the right to enforce it later.
